Kensuke Nishida, best known as the artist behind the dark action manga Jagaan, has officially launched a brand-new manga series. The new work debuted in the latest issue of Shogakukan's Weekly Big Comic Spirits, marking Nishida's return to serialization following the conclusion of Jagaan.
While Jagaan was written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro (Blue Lock) and illustrated by Nishida, the artist's latest project introduces readers to an entirely new story and cast of characters. Fans have been eagerly anticipating Nishida's next work, thanks to his distinctive artwork, dynamic action sequences, and gritty visual storytelling that made Jagaan a standout seinen manga.
Jagaan originally ran in Weekly Big Comic Spirits from 2017 to 2021 and concluded with 14 compiled volumes. The series earned a strong following for its blend of supernatural horror, psychological drama, and intense action.
With this new serialization, readers can once again experience Nishida's striking artistic style in a fresh setting. More details about the story and its characters are expected to be revealed as the series progresses.
