Tegoshi is the vocalist of the rock band T.N.T., which has also been serving as a promotional ambassador for The Vermilion Mask. The anime is based on the manga by Nabana Naba and original creator Dr. Poro, serialized in Young King OURs.

Tegoshi previously became involved with The Vermilion Mask as part of T.N.T's promotional activities. The band was appointed as the anime's promotional ambassador in August, with Tegoshi expressing his excitement about the series and its unique mask-based abilities.
The singer also appeared alongside the anime's cast at Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2026 on September 20. During the event, Tegoshi discussed his enthusiasm for the original manga and participated in a quiz competition with the anime's voice cast.
His involvement now expands from promotional activities into voice acting, giving fans another reason to watch the upcoming series.
A Mask-Based Battle Fantasy
The Vermilion Mask follows Peru d'Arrest, an apprentice of the legendary mask maker Gaston Lou. Masks created by the master can grant extraordinary abilities to those who wear them.
After Peru accidentally loses control while wearing the God of War Mask, he ends up killing both his companions and his master. Haunted by what happened, Peru sets out on a journey to destroy all of the masks created by Gaston while confronting the crime he committed.
The story combines fantasy, action, supernatural powers, and character-driven drama as Peru encounters new allies and powerful enemies during his journey.
